Looking for a “ground floor” opportunity to become a key management member of a fast-growing outdoor footwear company with an innovative, proprietary technology?

Korkers Products, a Portland, Oregon based company with breakthrough patented footwear technology is looking for an experienced, aggressive, and hard working professional to help rapidly broaden the company’s retail distribution and grow sales revenues. Based on successful sell-through at retail in the fly fishing market for the past 3 years, Korkers is expanding their product portfolio to include other outdoor recreational pursuits. Target markets include active outdoor summer and winter sports as well as rugged outdoor and work. Korkers is looking for an individual who has a successful track record of directing technical sales presentations across multiple distribution channels, as well as diligently managing independent Field Sales Representatives to achieve company goals.

• Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience in the specialty outdoor market
• Established relationships with outdoor retail buyers and/or key management
• Proven track record selling branded outdoor consumer goods products
• Proven track record managing independent outside field Sales Representatives
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Experience using a CRM Software solution to manage relationships and data
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; with the ability to develop, sort, and interpret sales spreadsheets, charts, and data.

Ideally, the candidate will be based in the North Eastern part of the US with the ability and desire to travel frequently to retail accounts on a direct basis and with territory Field Sales Representatives. Total first year compensation, including commissions, expected to be $80,000+ (plus health benefits) with the ability to increase significantly thereafter as company sales goals are met.
