|
Concept and execute design solutions for catalog layouts as well as develop and execute on-body photography that supports the Eddie Bauer brand image and direction for the Catalog division.
PHOTOGRAPHY
· Drive photo process to ensure high level of efficiency, both internally and externally
· Follow photographic direction set by Director of Photography to concept, develop photo plans, and execute photo needs.
· Determine shot assignments for on figure photography
· Art direct and oversee crews for on figure photography
· Collaborate with Merchant teams to ensure creative execution meets both brand requirements and business needs
· Responsible for researching product to ensure best representation photographically
· Work with Photo Producers to maintain current and research future talent
DESIGN
· Work in conjunction with Design Director and Concept team to develop seasonal concepts from strategic marketing plan.
· Gather brand correct visual imagery to support seasonal concept
· Establish initial design solutions for Catalog spreads based upon seasonal concept, marketing and merchandising strategies
· Develop layout solutions to support merchandising/product challenges for the season
· Create conceptual presentation materials for communication to internal and external partners for relevant catalog concept needs
· Ensure all creative execution are delivered on time and support objectives
· Partner with Design Director and Director of photography to develop and review catalog seasonal photo direction
· Ensure accurate handoff to production team
· Direct Print Buyers/FM Team regarding visual representation (ie: cloning, color correction, balance of spreads, etc.), color approvals

|
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Proficiency in Photo Shop, In Design
· Digital Photo knowledge in execution
· Strong creative leadership and mentoring skills
· Proven ability to succeed in a large, fast paced, creative organization
· Ability to travel regularly (as much as 50% of time)
Education/Experience Required:
· 6+ years experience in art direction, preferably in catalog print communication
· Demonstrated art direction skills to include directing concepting
· Experience developing design solutions for catalogs spreads.
· Experience guiding graphic designers to ensure design solutions meet expectations and business objectives.
· Still and on figure photo art direction experience
· Retail Experience Preferred |
